__ _Please find the English version below_ Hallo zusammen und herzlich Willkommen zum ersten Hopo-Newsletter, Hochschulpolitik hilft uns, das Studieren und die Uni zu verändern. Dieser Newsletter fasst für Euch die wichtigsten hochschulpolitischen Themen der TU Dortmund zusammen. Der Newsletter erscheint am Ende jeden Monats und berichtet aus der studentischen Perspektive. Aktuelles aus AStA und StuPa Update zum Semesterticket Nach der Kündigung gibt es nun eine Lösung für ein bundesweites Semesterticket. Auch dieses Ticket funktioniert als Solidarmodell. Heißt: das Ticket wird von allen Studierenden, unabhängig von der individuellen Nutzung, bezahlt. Die Verträge werden aktuell vom AStA geprüft. Leider fallen dabei die Fahrrad- und Personenmitnahme weg. Das soll im nächsten Wintersemester aber nachverhandelt werden. Mensa-Essen und Studi-Wohnheime werden teurer Aufgrund von steigenden Kosten ist das Studierendenwerk Dortmund auf Zuschüsse vom Land NRW angewiesen. Solche Zuschüsse sieht die Planung der Landesregierung NRW aktuell nicht vor. Aus Mangel an Optionen muss das Studierendenwerk Dortmund daher die Mensa- und Wohnheimpreise erhöhen. Dadurch sind viele Studierende einer noch höheren finanziellen Belastung ausgesetzt. Aus unserer Sicht ist ein Handeln der Landesregierung unbedingt nötig. Deswegen trifft sich der Arbeitskreis Studimobilisierung (AK StudiMob) in der zweiten Januarwoche, um weitere Handlungsschritte zu besprechen. Weitere Infos zum Treffen folgen über Instagram. Zwei neue AStA-Referentinnen gewählt Der AStA freut sich über zwei neue Referentinnen. Melisa Baran wurde in der Stupa-Sitzung am 30.11.2023 in das Referat für Nachhaltigkeit und Mobilität gewählt. Melisa studiert Architektur im Bachelor. Außerdem wurde Lara Witte in der Stupa-Sitzung am 12.12.2023 als Referentin für Kultur gewählt. Lara studiert Rehabilitationspädagogik im Bachelor. Ihr könnt weiter radeln! Der Vertrag für die Leihfahrräder (Nextbike) wurde verlängert. Mit den Fahrrädern könnt Ihr als Studi der TU Dortmund kostenlos fahren. Die Fahrräder findet Ihr am Campus zum Beispiel vor dem AStA oder in der Stadt. Genauere Infos findet Ihr in der App. Das erwartet Euch im Januar Die nächste StuPa-Sitzung findet in der dritten Kalenderwoche statt. Der finale Termin wird über den folgenden Link bekannt gegeben. Die AStA-Sitzungen finden im Wintersemester immer freitags um 14 Uhr im AStA-Seminarraum statt. Du kannst aber auch über Zoom als Gast/Gästin teilnehmen. Der Arbeitskreis für Hochschulpolitik trifft sich als nächstes am 22.01.2024 um 16:15 Uhr im AStA-Seminarraum. Hier können alle mitmachen. Um am AK HoPo teilzunehmen, musst Du NICHT gewählt sein. In diesem Arbeitskreis tauschen wir uns über Themen und Ideen aus, wie der Uni-Alltag verbessert werden könnte. Das sind zum Beispiel das Mensa-Angebot und Lernplätze. Wir besprechen aber auch die neue Newsletter-Ausgabe. Wie könnt Ihr mitmachen? Du willst Dich auch engagieren? This newsletter summarizes the most important university policy issues at TU Dortmund for you. The newsletter is published at the end of each month and reports from a student perspective. News from AStA and StuPa Update on the semester ticket Following the termination, there is now a solution for a nationwide semester ticket. This ticket works as a solidarity model. This means that the ticket is paid for by all students, regardless of individual use. The contracts are currently being reviewed by the AStA. Unfortunately, the bicycle and passenger transport are no longer included. However, this is to be renegotiated in the next winter semester. Mensa food and student residences will become more expensive Due to rising costs, the Studierendenwerk Dortmund is dependent on subsidies from the state of NRW. The plans of the NRW state government do not currently provide for such subsidies. Due to a lack of options, the Studierendenwerk Dortmund therefore has to increase the prices of its canteens and halls of residence. This places an even greater financial burden on many students. From our point of view, action by the state government is absolutely necessary. For this reason, the student mobilization working group (AK StudiMob) will meet in the second calendar week to discuss further steps for action. Further information about the meeting will follow via Instagram. Two new AStA speakers elected The AStA is pleased to welcome two new officers. Melisa Baran was elected to the Department of Sustainability and Mobility at the Stupa meeting on 30.11.2023. Melisa is studying architecture. In addition, Lara Witte was elected as a speaker for culture at the Stupa meeting on 12.12.2023. Lara is studying Rehabilitation Education in the Bachelor's program. You can keep cycling! The contract for the rental bikes (Nextbike) has been extended. As a TU Dortmund University student, you can use the bikes free of charge. You can find the bikes on campus, for example in front of the AStA or in the city. You can find more detailed information in the App. What to expect in January The next StuPa meeting will take place in the third calendar week. The final date will be announced via the following link. The AStA meetings in the winter semester always take place on Fridays at 2 pm in the AStA seminar room. You can also participate as a guest via Zoom. The working group for university politics will meet next on 22.01.2024 4pm in the AStA seminar room. Anyone can participate here. You do NOT have to be elected to participate in the HoPo working group. In this working group, we discuss topics and ideas on how to improve everyday life at the university. These are, for example, the canteen offer and learning spaces. We also discuss the new edition of the newsletter. How can you get involved? Do you also want to get involved?
